Graduate Research School

The Graduate Research School is a structure entirely devoted to doctoral studies.

One single point of contact for doctoral education

The aim of the Graduate Research School is to harmonize and disseminate practices within the eight existing doctoral schools.

The ambition of the Graduate Research School is to coordinate the entire field of doctoral studies, between training colleges and research departments, thus creating a single point of contact for doctoral students and their thesis supervisors, in coordination with the doctoral schools.

Main missions

The School's main missions are to provide training as well as support with internationalization and career development. A catalogue of around 70 professional training modules has been developed, permitting doctoral students to acquire complementary skills such as teaching methods, research ethics, managerial skills, etc. In this way, the university’s 2,000 doctoral students are guided with their career choices in different professional sectors, whether it be in a national or international context.

The Graduate Research School also responds to questions about enrolment, doctoral contracts, studying abroad possibilities and/or international co-supervision and co-tutelle arrangements, etc.
